Painting And The Letter D...

Samuel has been wanting to break out the paints and stamps the past several days, so we're going to use those in our lessons this week. I'm going to incorporate it into learning to write the letter D, but to start, I let him go crazy on a canvas. We talked about how you can blend colors to create new colors, as well as creating different shades of the same color. Sam had a lot of fun creating his own work of art on a canvas. And while he did so, I decided to join in the fun, ha. I haven't painted in I don't know how long so don't judge the skills, ha.

He called his painting, "Soccer Ball" and said that every little circle was a soccer ball. He's starting a new season of soccer next week, so I'm sure the excitement over that probably influenced this…

No title for mine, but Sam wants to do something similar next time. He said it looked like a green sun, ha.

While uploading these, I ran across a picture of Samuel with his craft from a couple weeks ago. I remember him telling me he wanted to show "Da-Dewey" (Grandma Julie), but I obviously failed to upload it to show her. Oops!

Now off to go stamp things that start with the letter D. Samuel got my basket of wooden stamps out and is anxiously waiting. For those of you using the Paw Patrol worksheets, here are the worksheets for this week…
