The many faces of Obadiah and Grant...

While my sister and brother in law were in town, Oba was reunited with some of his favorites. Deb and Granty love on Oba quite a bit, and this visit wasn't any different. While driving to various sights, Grant hung out with Oba in the back. Some parts of the day were more enjoyable than others for poor Grant. At the start of the first day, Grant was sweet talking Oba and by the end of the day, he had no patience left for him, ha! At one point, he looked at Oba while he was whining and said, "Awh, Oba. What's wrong? Are you sad because you smell so bad?" Later, Oba continued to whine and you just heard Grant say in a very irritated but calm way, "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." Haha. Oba never listens to me when I tell him to do so, and it wasn't any different for Grant. Below are some shots of the two of them throughout the trip...

At the start of the day, Oba was just happy to be in the car with us.
Oba must've been caught mid yawn/lick...
Oba looking sweet and innocent...
Grant was probably consoling him...
Oba doesn't always have the greatest breath...
And drools quite a bit when he's excited...
By the look on Grant's face, Oba must've let us know how stressed out he was at that point...
Back to being happy...
Still happy...
Oba loved getting some fresh air...(so did Grant on many occasions thanks to Oba's stress!)
Getting a break from each other...
We must've been driving past something beautiful on the way to OR...

It was very entertaining to Deb and I to look back and see the two of them together. (Obviously, with how many pictures Deb took of the two of them!) Now that they're gone, Oba's quite sad. In fact, when I got home from the airport last night, Oba cried and sat at the garage door just waiting for them to come in. The poor guy finally gave up and went to bed, but not without many grumbles and whines.
