With that being said, we were reminded once again how stubborn little Samuel is while doing the 4D scan. James and I met for lunch beforehand and I purposely had a soda to hopefully get him dancing. (I don't normally have any kind of soda while pregnant.) Sure enough, he danced all the way to the office, then fell asleep. Once we got in there, he had his knee and arms covering his face, so the tech got to sit there poking around again like last week. After about 30 minutes of that and turning side to side, we did finally get a few good shots. Afterwards, the tech looked at us and said, "Alright...which one of you is THIS stubborn!??!?" That would be me. She said, "So he looks like daddy, but acts like mommy, huh?" Apparently so.
Initially, this was as close as we thought we were going to get...
But by the end, we were able to get a good profile shot...
Here's hoping that we get to meet him around this time next week. More importantly...here's hoping he is a healthy little guy and that those steroid shots do their job and boost his lung maturity!
Wow, one week! So many prayers and good thoughts coming your way!!
