Updating...

So I've spent the afternoon trying to update a few pictures that are framed throughout the house. The ones in our living room desperately need it, but those will have to wait for now. We have a set of three frames that are lined up and I'm still debating what theme I want to do -- Alaska, Europe, WA/OR, etc. At our previous duty stations, they were dispersed throughout the house, so the pictures are totally unrelated. Decisions, decisions...

Anyways...among the frames that were successfully updated today, one was in our guest bathroom. We have this tiny (by tiny, I mean 1 1/2" x 1 1/2") frame that has sat in there forever, but never really had much of a picture in it. It's part of this little gift set that we received many years ago and we've just always kept in there. Since I was going through our frames, I mentioned to James how we need to put something better in that little frame. He immediately knew what he wanted in there -- something comical. This is what he decided would best fit the frame...

(This picture was taken while at one of our favorite WA beaches)

Leave it to James to have something in that frame that makes people wonder, "What the heck?" when they're in there. When James does that goofy smile, I can just feel the extreme energy that he possesses -- especially when I'm stressed out or tense, it doubles that feeling, ha. So yeah, for the frame to say, "Relax," and you have that picture...well, I guess it just spells out "James."

On a side note, this "new" HP printer (it was bought while I was preggo with Liv, but I didn't end up installing it until we moved here) is a pain when it comes to printing pictures at odd sizes! Oh, how I miss our old Canon. That thing would print any odd size you wanted without issue. Instead, I spent forever trying to get this thing to print a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" picture -- what a pain! Oh well, it's done and I think the rest of the prints will be of regular size. Plus, I found a coupon for 2 free 8x10 prints at Ritz/Wolf Camera so I might just go there for a few of them! Gotta love those freebies!!!

Oh and on a totally unrelated note, today marks 19 weeks!!! Grow, Samuel, Grow!!!

  1. I don't know what you're talking about. This is a quality update, much better than mine. That is a funny picture, very cool. I commented on your comment but I don't know if you get a notification on your end, how did your friend pronounce Emmaline? Thanks :) Take care
