Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye...to our Chevy Malibu!
The time has come. The final payment has been made, and it is officially in someone else's name! One year ago today, we sold the Malibu to a young family in our unit with a contract that allowed them to make 12 monthly payments through a military allotment. While I was happy to help them out by letting them make payments, I was always kind of concerned that this would come back to bite us somehow. You just never know, and as long as that title was in our name, we were ultimately responsible. BUT...that's no longer the case! The final payment hit the bank today, so I immediately called them up to meet and sign everything over. It's so nice to have that over and done with!
