Paw Patrol To The Rescue!

So, we're on Day 2 at MAC -- Moore Academy of Excellence, ha. I feel like most of what we're doing is basically review since Sam has been learning this stuff for the past year between preschool at Ft. Irwin and what we've already been doing at home for fun. However, now we're going to make it a daily occurrence and really knock it out.

I absolutely love that there are so many options and so much for free online. Samuel was totally into the super fun video that I found about the letter A. He especially loved it when I started dancing and singing along, ha. If you have a preschooler interested in watching it, click here. He wasn't as much into the generic worksheet, which got me thinking…He's slightly obsessed with Paw Patrol at the moment and what's more fun than learning with your favorite characters?! So I made him a few worksheets catered to that. I think I'm probably going to make several more as we continue through each letter/number. One of the major perks of teaching at home is that you can cater to your child however you wish. At this age, I want it to be as fun as possible!

Here's Samuel working on his generic worksheet. He asked for a Rocky sticker (from Paw Patrol) when he was done, which then brought me to the idea of making my own worksheets…

Below are the first four worksheets I made. For those interested, please feel free to print these for personal use. If you would like to share them elsewhere, all I ask is that you link back to this site when doing so. They're saved as pdf files, so once you click on them, you should be able to just click on the printer icon and be good to go!

    1. Rachel, I'm glad you like them! Please be sure to check out more recent blog posts for more letters. So far, I'm only up to letter F, but will have more soon. I'm a couple weeks behind due to our family vacation and trying to get back in the groove of things, but I'll hopefully have G and H up soon! :)

    1. Arbiv, thank you! I'm glad they'll benefit your son. :) Unfortunately, I haven't done any math or numbers worksheets, yet. However, that's not to say I won't. I've been focusing on writing the alphabet for now while using manipulatives for math -- I haven't had him try to write the numbers yet, though. I hope to make worksheets for them soon, so please check back! :)

    1. Thank you, Rachel! I'm glad you found these!!! :) My goal has always been one letter a week, but then there was a delay over the last month, because my mac died. I hope to get back into the groove and catch back up. Please feel free to email me if you're interested in purchasing the full set or anything else. Also, check the latest blog posting for the letter M. :)

  4. Thank you so much for sharing, my daughter loves Paw Patrol. I was looking for the next few letters, C, D, E, F, etc. I saw N, O, P...would you please guide me as to where those are on your sight?
You have a beautiful family and are so creative.

    1. You're too sweet. Thank you. :) Early on in the school year, I was posting a letter a week. I've been seriously slacking as life has gotten busier than I had intended, but I hope to finish the alphabet by the end of the school year. Here are a few links for C, D, E, and F. Once I finish, I plan to compress a file of the complete alphabet, but for now, I just have a blog post for each letter. Sorry, I know that's kind of a hassle. It's probably easiest to click "newer post" as you go through each letter's blog post. Thanks for your patience. :)
