Chaos Company...

As always, I feel like it's been forever since I have been on here and am not really sure where to even begin. The last month has FLOWN by! Samuel spent time with all of his grandparents, James took Command over Chaos Company, I became the FRG (Family Readiness Group) Leader of that company, and we've somehow been busier than ever while James is away in the field. I am really starting to think I'm going to have to start scheduling in free time so we can just veg out every once in awhile. After all, Samuel barely has a chance to play with his toys these days and that needs to change. Being busy is great when James is gone, though, so I suppose it's a good thing that our days are flying by...

I haven't really brought out the camera too much lately. In fact, we hired a photographer for James' COC so I wouldn't have to worry about that factor. Below are some pics from that day. I'm very excited about the year ahead. So far, James is absolutely LOVING the new job -- it's like a vacation compared to his last, ha.

With the way things worked out, James took Command, then left for the NIE a week later. So with the guys in the field, I have been hosting dinners for the ladies in our company and during the last one, I did actually break out the the camera for a minute. Good food, good company and, of course, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for the toddlers, ha.

Sam had a BLAST having his little friends over. I have to say, it's nice being part of a Company again (as opposed to just working on Brigade staff) -- you definitely feel a lot more connected and part of something. Hopefully the families of Chaos Company are as happy about the change as we are, ha. I suppose we'll see in time...
