Our Week In Pictures...

So while uploading the most recent pictures from my camera, I realized they were quite random. I don't have much to say, but these made me smile, so I figured I would share...

Before going out to dinner with friends on Friday, I made James take a picture of Samuel and me for the 19 week mark...

Then I took one of him. He clearly didn't want it...

The basset could care less though -- as long as he had his comfy blanket to lay on...

Then fast forward to Monday (Valentine's Day)...Obadiah decided that the new rug in the entry way was for him. I mean, why not? It's long and skinny like a certain someone -- perfect for an afternoon nap! He even moved it off to the side so that he could lean on the console table. What a prince...

Then to end the day...a surprise when James came home...

Like I said in my last post, I don't expect to receive anything on this "holiday," but who doesn't love a bouquet of roses? I love this man...

To finish our evening of little surprises (we both got each other a little something -- nothing major, but something to say, "I love you!"), we had homemade French Dip sandwiches and let me just say...they were HEAVENLY!

Thank you, Katie, for the recipe. It rocked. I ended up just using a regular roast since it was easy to toss into the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients, then grabbed some bread from Jimmy John's to use with it and man...that totally made the meal. I may not be allowed to have deli meat while preggo (I want a JJ Vito SO bad!!!), but I'm sure going to enjoy their bread. Yum! I think I may have to go buy more JJ bread for the leftovers -- or to eat just by itself...either way, I love that bread!

Well, now that I'm done sharing some random pics, I'm off to bed. We had our second photog growth group tonight and I think everyone came away with some new knowledge. Plus, I had some great conversation with a couple of others that lasted way past the intended time. It was great and I'm glad we had it, but man am I beat!

Good night, blog world...
