Man. It feels like forever since I've gotten up on this blog! Between the drive, family visits in IN and PA, and the unpacking process, I feel so behind! We just now finally got internet set up -- no thanks to an insane amount of calls and complaints to AT&T due to various issues not being resolved. I hadn't planned on even attempting to get on here until next week due to family visiting over the weekend and being so busy with that, but with today being what it is, I made time. The rest of my catching up will have to wait, but hopefully soon I can do that! So many things to talk about from the last month!
It was 10 months ago, today, that we delivered our sweet baby girl. 10 months...I can't help but think of how things would be if she would've been a happy healthy newborn -- where we would be, what milestones she would be hitting, etc. We love and miss her SO much! Even with this supposed fresh start here in GA, we still can't escape all of those thoughts -- not to mention the fact that we moved into another 4 bedroom home, so all of her stuff still resides in what would've been her room. And how fitting that the room has butterfly wallpaper!? When we did the initial walk-through, we saw that room and both immediately knew that's where we'd put her crib, clothes, etc. Sure, she's unfortunately not here to enjoy it, but we'll still utilize it just the same.
Here's a picture of the wallpaper in Liv's room. While I'm not personally a huge fan of wallpaper, we found it very fitting...
We love you Livy and wish so badly that you were here. With tomorrow being the National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, we will be lighting a candle for you, Jacob, and Jordan...
I will be lighting a candle in honor of Olivia and Jacob. I am glad you are getting settled.
